Description

The Stanley Jacket is a classic men's field jacket crafted from 6oz waxed cotton with a smooth silkwax finish from the legendary Halley Stevensons mill in Scotland. Featuring the same silhouette as our acclaimed Steward Jacket, it offers a mid-length fit that sits just below the belt line. A stand collar lined with Bedford corduroy provides welcome protection from the cold, while a bi-swing back and gusseted underarms allow for a full range of motion. Four buttoned pockets that expand for storage are finished with horn buttons and the front closure secures with antique brass snaps for a clean look. A cotton lining inspired by Alabama red clay adds a distinctive touch of color. The Stanley brings a refined take on traditional waxed canvas field jackets.

Model is wearing size Medium. The front length of the jacket from high point shoulder is 27 1/2" for size Medium. For Tall sizes, add 2" to the total length and 1" to the sleeve length.

Available in Hardwood.

Made in the USA with imported materials.

Care Instructions

Your garment's thin waxed coating resists liquids and makes it relatively easy to clean. Waxed cotton should not be machine washed or dry cleaned and should be kept away from hot water and harsh detergents that will remove the wax coating. When spots occur, use a damp rag or soft bristle brush to gently buff out the stained area. If spots are particularly stubborn, use a castile soap and rinse with lukewarm water. Re-wax the area with our reproofing wax and hang to air dry in a warm place.

Generally, rinse dirt and debris by hand with cold water and air dry. Do not iron. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Do not machine wash. Do not use artificial heat to dry, expose to open flames, or hang on radiators.
