Marketing Manager

Tom Beckbe seeks a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to join our team. The Marketing Manager will have primary responsibility for coordinating and organizing marketing efforts across Tom Beckbe. 

As the Marketing Manager at Tom Beckbe, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance our brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and propel our growth. The Marketing Manager will work closely with current team members to manage the company’s marketing calendar, assist the ecommerce team with digital marketing efforts across email and social media, support store directors as they plan and manage in-store events, work with Tom Beckbe’s publicist to facilitate and track PR requests and placements, help produce photoshoots and other content, and travel to store and industry events.

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least two years of experience in a marketing role. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Creativity, adaptability, and a genuine appreciation of the outdoor lifestyle that Tom Beckbe promotes are all pluses.

Merchandise Planner

Tom Beckbe seeks an experienced, goal-oriented Merchandise Planner to join our team. As the Merchandise Planner, you will work closely with the finance team and executive management to build and manage inventory plans. The Merchandise Planner will analyze sales across Tom Beckbe’s retail, ecommerce, and wholesale businesses to maintain adequate inventory levels and allocation among stores. The Merchandise Planner will also work directly with store, wholesale, and ecommerce directors to analyze sales performance and develop forecasts. The Merchandise Planner will support the finance team’s regular reporting to management and the board of directors. 

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least two years of experience in a financial or inventory planning role with an apparel or consumer goods company. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are required.

Designer

We are currently seeking an experienced apparel designer with strong hands-on design skills to join our team. As a Designer at Tom Beckbe, you will work with the product team to develop and bring to market apparel, accessories, and soft goods that align with our design philosophies and customer needs. 

As a Designer, your responsibilities will include the creation of seasonal line plans that incorporate innovative designs and concepts. You will work closely with design, development, and product management teams to ensure feasibility of designs that meet price points, merchandising needs, and product creation timelines. 

The Designer will produce detailed drawings and complete checklists to development and product management so that prototypes, BOMs, and sales/marketing collateral can be created in an accurate and timely manner. You will also help identify current trends in design, color, material, trims, technical features, and technologies of the outdoor, sporting, and fashion markets through research and product usage experience with a strong knowledge of menswear. The Designer will also review samples to ensure quality and accuracy, assist in fit reviews, and identify cost-saving measures throughout the sampling process.

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least three years of hands-on experience designing apparel, preferably men's functional outdoor and elevated lifestyle, with demonstrated proficiency in necessary technical and creative skillsets. A degree in Apparel Design or related area of study is preferred. Interest or involvement in activities that Tom Beckbe makes products for is a plus.
