We designed the Coggins Jacket in collaboration with the writer and angler David Coggins to provide a new riff on some of our most popular outerwear styles.
The Coggins Jacket offers a unique color, finish, length, and details compared with the rest of Tom Beckbe’s range. Offered exclusively in Highlands Green, this weatherproof jacket has a waxed shelter cloth shell proofed with a dry finish and rich luster by our partners at Halley Stevensons in Scotland. This finish is unique to Tom Beckbe’s outerwear, and it will develop a rich patina with wear and proper care. An 11-wale corduroy wrist lining and collar with storm latch provide comfortable, warm protection from the wind and distinctive caramel-colored accents. Compared with our Tensaw and Piedmont Jackets, the Coggins has two inches of added length in the body to fit effortlessly over a suit jacket or sports coat.
In addition to its distinctive features, the Coggins Jacket incorporates all of the hallmark features of classic Tom Beckbe outerwear pieces, such as our signature Alabama clay lining and built-in mobility with a bi-swing back and gusseted underarms. The sleeves are lined with a smooth poly twill that glides over layers with ease and close with a snap cuff. Two chest hand warmer pockets are perfect for cold days, while large front bellow pockets provide ample storage and conceal two additional lower hand warmer pockets. A hidden Napoleon pocket keeps cellphones and other valuables dry and provides easy access without releasing heat. Interior slip pocket.
Model is wearing size Medium. The front length of the jacket from high point shoulder is 32.75" for size Medium.
