Always Fine Bourbon

We have a rule-of-thumb for professional relationships: is this someone with whom we would share a campfire and, yes, a drink? Enter the Van Winkle family. It’s fair to say that no one has done more for fine American spirits than the Van Winkles. Their method for success is straightforward but hardly simple: use only the best ingredients, work slowly in small batches, and relentlessly dedicate yourself to quality.

We admire and share these principles. And we could not be more excited to announce that we partnered with the Van Winkles to create a small batch of 100 Limited Edition Tensaw Jackets in Stave Brown. These jackets have a waxed outer shell that reflects the weathered oak of bourbon barrel staves. Each has been individually numbered and signed by Julian Van Winkle III, president of Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery. Available exclusively at PappyCo.com, they are suitable for the field, city, and everywhere in between.

As fourth-generation Van Winkles, bourbon has always been a long and proud tradition for the children of Julian Van Winkle. His three daughters—Carrie, Louise and Chenault—embarked on their own careers outside of spirits, but the family business always seemed to call their names. They formed Pappy & Company to take the shared communion of bourbon beyond the bottle itself.

From elegant barware to southern apparel to fine home decor, Pappy & Company curates bourbon-inspired dry goods, all made with the same dedication to taste, quality and style that embodied their great grandfather’s original vision. Pappy & Company is based in Louisville, KY.
