Description

Tom Beckbe and Mossy Oak were both born from the hardwood bottoms along the Tombigbee River. Given the shared roots, along with a mutual passion for the outdoors, conservation, and tradition, a collaboration was almost inevitable. We’re pleased that day has arrived with a limited run of our acclaimed outerwear and field gear in Mossy Oak Original Bottomland.

Proven in the field around the world, the Tensaw Jacket in Mossy Oak Original Bottomland stands at the head of the legion of waxed canvas jackets. Equally at home in the field and in town, the Tensaw Jacket blends rugged functionality with smart styling.

The Tensaw Jacket's durable 8 oz waxed shelter cloth shell develops a rich patina over time. Set-in sleeves provide flattering structure through the shoulders, while gusseted underarms, a bi-swing back, and classic fit through the midsection allow for a full-range of motion. A cotton liner inspired by Alabama red clay adds a touch of color to the interior, and a collar lined with Bedford corduroy provides welcome protection from the cold. The sleeves are lined with a smooth polyester twill that glides over layers with ease. Two chest hand warmer pockets are perfect for cold days, while large front bellow pockets provide ample storage and conceal two additional lower hand warmer pockets. A hidden Napoleon pocket keeps cellphones and other valuables dry and provides easy access without releasing heat. For Tall sizes, add 2" to the total length and 1" to the sleeve length.

Made in the U.S.A. of imported materials.

Care Instructions

Your garment's thin waxed coating resists liquids and makes it relatively easy to clean. Waxed cotton should not be machine washed or dry cleaned and should be kept away from hot water and harsh detergents that will remove the wax coating. When spots occur, use a damp rag or soft bristle brush to gently buff out the stained area. If spots are particularly stubborn, use a castile soap and rinse with lukewarm water. Re-wax the area with our reproofing wax and hang to air dry in a warm place.

Generally, rinse dirt and debris by hand with cold water and air dry. Do not iron. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Do not machine wash. Do not use artificial heat to dry, expose to open flames, or hang on radiators.
